SPOTLIGHT: Rachel Hughes, CEO // New World Native
Working within holistic health coaching and consulting, we spearhead areas where things are not quite working for you, then tweak the knobs and levers to find that sweet spot where life aligns. There, we find progress, and feel and perform at our very best.
As high performers, we move from optimal performance to extraordinary performance. In doing so, funny enough, there is even more of a need to tweak and fine-tune ourselves, each and every day, in order to remain clear, calm, and continually provide excellence in service of the greater good.
Rachel Hughes, of New World Native, has found her sweet spot in creating a community of independent wellness providers from around the world. New World Native is the fastest-growing digital platform in the wellness world – Connecting consumers and companies with holistic health professionals.
Rachel was kind enough to reach out last summer inviting me to join her Conscious Network. Since then, she has made impressive headway, most recently speaking at the South by Southwest Conference in Austin, TX. Her story began in Sydney, Australia where she was adopted at 6 weeks old. Her creative and independent tendencies guided her gradually toward entrepreneurship. Like many holistic health practitioners and entrepreneurs, she first committed to personal healing through several modalities and by remaining open to all possibilities, found resolve.
Cleansing from years of pharmaceutical drugs taken as a child and reconnecting with her mind and body were key. With that, she was better able to not only follow, but commit to her curiosities – always the necessary next step in stepping into one’s true purpose. Doing her due diligence for several years, her love of new exciting experiences with a healthy dose of challenging herself to just past her comfort zones took her to Los Angeles. This move resulted in the birth of the global network for the conscious community that you see here today. She has since been accepted into the WeWork incubator in New York, produced content for Mercedes Benz at the meConvention, and in April 2018 told her story on a panel at SXSW.
With all that is going on in the world, I offer you another inspiring young woman in business making shifts happen.
In the past year, while always at the forefront, my passions for women in business, unsung heroes, and people making the planet a better place has grown to a degree I never imagined. From clients, to peers within wellness, to inspiring organizations I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with who are working daily with global leaders. Without these changemakers, where would we be?
While my style of holistic coaching allows me to work with clients from anywhere, I refer out to many other modalities where physical presence is necessary. Rachel is allowing me to help you connect to the practitioners in your area. Please check in to New World Native to find a holistic health provider near you.
“We are living in an age where the freelancer economy within conscious professions is expanding exponentially, and there was no platform bringing a measuring stick to this industry." – Rachel Hughes
NNW is the global network for the conscious community, providing services for conscious professionals & the consciously curious. NWN solves the challenges of connecting to a trusted network in the fragmented world of wellness, by increasing exposure and business while also building community. With an HQ in NYC, offices in Los Angeles and Amsterdam, and community managers spread around the globe, the company itself is true to its global vision.
Rachel built her knowledge and love for ancient healing modalities through her constant curiosity and first hand experiences. A former art producer and curator, she saw a gap during her own journey towards holistic health, thus New World Native was born. Rachel believes that we, as humans, need to be taking care of ourselves and the planet from a preventative, rather than reactionary, stand point. Through daily holistic and sustainable habits, all humans can access a thriving, healthy life in symbiosis with the planet.
We could not agree more. In gratitude, Rachel.
